some of you may know we had our house on the market...
well, we had on for 6 months with no bites.... took it off for 6 months to regroup and strategize... then in September put in back on the market.
This time my mother in law sent us some help
At first I laughed... but then I thought, why not?
Meet Saint Joseph:
He is supposed to help you sell your house. According to the directions, you should first dig a hole
Then you put Saint Joseph inside the hole (he should be facing the street)
Then you cover the hole back up
And then you say this prayer:
"If" you sell your house... you are supposed to dig up Saint Joseph and put him in a prominent place in your NEW home.
Well by golly it worked because our house is currently UNDER CONTRACT!!!!!! Yep, I'm a believer!
Here is the breakdown of the rest of my year:
11/11: moving day!!
11/14-11/18: finals week (3 tests in this week)
11/19: start of my preceptorship on the MOTHER-BABY unit!! (SO EXCITED!)
12/16: GRADUATION from NURSING SCHOOL!
As you can see... there are LOTS of stresses... moving to a new city... graduation.. "hopefully" finding a job.
Wish me luck!!

ReplyDeleteHooray! It's been awhile since I heard about anyone doing this but I remember it years ago.
ReplyDeletePeople really do swear by that technique, apparently for good reason! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteSo now I need to figure out how to talk my girlfriend to go to my house in Texas and dig a hole bury a saint (facing the street) then hopefully after the house sells go back and get it?
ReplyDeleteI mean I'm TOTALLY going to ask. It's me, of course.
But how.... that's the question. :o)
